Jim White, Vice President for Program Operations

Jim White is a senior manager with more than 15 years of experience in catalyzing change through humanitarian relief, development and community engagement initiatives. He has spent most of his time working in the field as a Country or Regional Director.

White is experienced in running programming in complex emergencies and transitioning relief activities to sustainable development through engaging and building the capacity of the private, public and civic sector actors. He has served in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Kosovo, Tajikistan and West Bank/Gaza, as well as missions to numerous other countries such as Iran, Iraq and North Korea. White is currently the Vice President of Program Operations for Mercy Corps.
