Linda A. Mason, Chair
Linda Mason, Boston, Massachusetts, is Chairman and co-founder of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, the nation's largest provider of worksite early education, serving more than 40,000 families in the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland. She is an author, a trustee of Yale University and a former co-director of Save the Children's emergency program in Sudan.

Bob Newell, Lake Oswego, Oregon, is partner with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, one of the Northwest's largest and leading law firms with offices throughout the United States and overseas.

Dr. Jay A. Barber, Jr.
Jay Barber, Portland, Oregon, is the President of Warner Pacific College and has been active in politics, church and voluntary organizations. He is the former President of Oregon Health Sciences University Foundation.

Anita Bekenstein
Anita Bekenstein, Wayland, Massachusetts, has a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University. As an occupational therapist, at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, she specialized in neurology and pediatrics. She is currently a Chairperson for Friends of City Year International. She is an overseer at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, serving on the Friends of Fenway Court Committee and on the Education Council.

Scott Brown
Scott Brown, Hanover, New Hampshire, is the CEO and co-founder of New Energy Capital Corp., a New England-based company with investments in biofuels, renewable power generation and on-site cogeneration assets. Mr. Brown's career in the renewable energy sector has included positions as a member of the founding management team of First Solar, Inc., and the President of Glasstech Solar, Inc.

Gun Denhart
Gun Denhart, Portland, Oregon, co-founded the Hanna Andersson children's clothing company in 1983. Through her leadership, the company has become known for its high quality clothing made from
soft cotton materials, as well as community involvement and family friendly work practices.

Jock Encombe
Jock Encombe, Edinburgh, Scotland, has a background in strategy consultancy, investment banking, television production and psychotherapy. He is Director of YSC Consultancy, Edinburgh. Before joining YSC he worked as a management and organisational development consultant for Monitor — a Harvard based strategy consultancy — and at Guy's Hospital for ten years as a Cognitive Analytic Therapist and training supervisor. He has a degree in English Language and Literature from Oxford University. He has a particular interest in relationship-based approaches to individual and organisational change.

Allen Grossman
Allen Grossman, Cambridge, Massachusetts, has served as a Professor of Management Practice at Harvard Business School since 2000, after joining the faculty in 1998. Prior to this position, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Outward Bound USA for six years.

Hannah Jones
Hannah Jones, Portland, Oregon, is Vice President of Corporate Responsibility with Nike. She is responsible for managing Nike's global corporate responsibility efforts including labor compliance, sustainability and business integration, global community affairs, stakeholder engagement and regional corporate responsibility programs. Hannah began her career as a reporter, researcher and producer for the social action unit of BBC Radio One and Radio Five.

Neal Keny-Guyer, Portland, Oregon, is a highly experienced international relief and development expert with United Nations, major NGO and private management consulting experience.

Ned Lamont
Ned Lamont, Greenwich, Connecticut, founded his own company, Lamont Digital Systems, in 1984. Now known as Campus Televideo, the company serves over 150 campuses across the country with foreign language, distance learning and cable television services. He is a graduate of both Harvard and the Yale School of Management and a former newspaper editor. Ned served as a fellow at Harvard University's Institute of Politics in Spring 2007, and currently serves as a board member at the Progressive States Network. He is in the process of setting up a policy center at Central Connecticut State University to work on state issues such as healthcare, education, transportation, and tax reform.

Mike Maerz
Mike Maerz, Portland, Oregon, has served in key roles at a number of leading Oregon technology companies, most notably as Vice President and General Manager of Internet Products Division and Network Products Division at Intel Corporation. He is also a co-founder of etrieve, Inc. and former President and CEO of The Palace, Inc.

David Mahoney
David Mahoney, San Francisco, California is a private equity investor and the former Co-CEO of McKesson HBOC and CEO of iMcKesson LLC. He serves on the boards of Symantec, Inc., Tercica, Inc., and Corcept Therapeutics as well as the boards of the SFMOMA, Live Oak School and NCPB, Inc. He has a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Daniel W. O'Neill, Co-Founder
Dan O'Neill, Sammamish, Washington, co-founded Save The Refugees Fund in 1979 and founded Mercy Corps in 1981. He is an author and is Chairman of the Board for the Mercy Corps Foundation.

Philippe Villers
Philippe Villers, Concord, Massachusetts, is the founder of three high technology companies including a Fortune 500 company. Currently, he is President of Grainpro, Inc., which provides food security in the developing world using hermetic enclosures. He is also President of Families USA Foundation, "The Voice for Health Care Consumers," and serves on seven boards.

Melissa Waggener Zorkin, Bellevue, Washington, is instrumental to Waggener Edstrom Worldwide's international reputation as an innovative and premier strategic communications agency. She has provided strategic counsel to major brands including Microsoft, IBM, SAP, AT&T, The Walt Disney Company, Dell, EMI Records, Virgin Interactive, Sega, AMD and Scientific American, and emerging brands including AVI BioPharma and Corixa, and has helped guide many startups to success. Melissa also serves on the creative councils for a number of worldwide brands.
