China Earthquake, One Year Later
On May 12, 2008, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake devastated China's Sichuan Province. Almost 70,000 people were killed and nearly 400,000 injured. Entire cities were toppled by the massive jolt and hundreds of subsequent aftershocks.
