In honor of World Food Day, show your support for families facing hunger

In Kenya, Selina joined a women’s group organized by Mercy Corps, where she and others learned about climate-resilient farming practices and began a community garden.

Every year, hundreds of millions of people suffer from hunger – 673 million in 2024 alone. Conflict, displacement, rising living costs, and extreme weather are driving hunger across the globe.

In crisis zones like Gaza and Sudan, displacement and violence have left millions on the verge of starvation. Similarly, in countries like Kenya, severe droughts have pushed over a third of the population into emergency levels of hunger.

Mercy Corps is working on the ground to support families and communities with vital aid and long-term solutions to create sustainable food systems.

On World Food Day, add your name if you believe all people have the right to reliable access to healthy and nutritious foods.
