Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Mercy Corps. In response to the COVID‑19 pandemic, we are not currently accepting new volunteers.
If you have experience owning or managing a business, we invite you to explore Mercy Corps’ MicroMentor program. You could help an entrepreneur in the United States or abroad succeed by mentoring them. Mentors can meet entrepreneurs in person if in the same location, but tend to mentor via phone, e-mail, and video chat. Here are a few of the benefits:
- Real, personal impact: You develop a one-on-one relationship and make a direct impact in your mentee's life. Businesses who have mentors are more likely to survive and grow.
- Flexible time commitment: The volunteer time commitment is 3 hours a month for 3 months per entrepreneur mentored. You and your mentee choose the best time and way to connect.
- Dedicated support from MicroMentor: MicroMentor is an economic opportunity program of Mercy Corps and has a support team ready to empower you to be a great mentor.
